The Verizon Wireless exclusive, Ellipsis 7 Tablet gets official – Launches Nov. 7th for $249

Ellipsis 7 TabletVerizon Wireless has officially announced the Ellipsis 7, which promises to be a “fully featured tablet at an affordable price.” and is exclusive to Verizon. The Ellipsis 7 tablet is expected to launch on November 7th and will retail for $249 off contract or $149 with a new two-year agreement when it does.

What does that affordable price get you? Well for starters, the Ellipsis 7 offers a 7-inch, IPS LCD display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet also features a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor along with a front-facing camera, 8GB worth of internal storage, a MicroSDHC storage expansion slot and a 4000 mAh battery. Of course, this tablet also comes with the always speedy, Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.

For software, the Ellipsis 7 comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean along with a nice selection of pre-installed applications. Including Verizon’s own Messages app, the Google Play Store, Amazon Kindle app, Plants vs. Zombies and the Redbox Instant app.

Not bad at all for the money. This is the first Ellipsis product to make its way onto Verizon’s network and it seems like an option worth looking into for anyone needing a compact and affordable tablet with Verizon 4G LTE connectivity. Something tells me we might see more Ellipsis devices launch on Verizon in the near future, but for now it is all about the Ellipsis 7.
