Gamestop now offering Android tablets at over 1,600 stores

It looks like Gamestop is serious about offering Android tablets. Originally it was believed they would stock only Samsung products, however, according to the press release – Android tablets from Acer, Asus and Samsung can now be purchased from over 1,600 in store locations.

The tablets will come pre-loaded with a free issue of Game Informer digital magazine and a selection of free games. Games mentioned specifically in the press release include Sonic CD, Riptide and the Kongregate Arcade gaming app. Also, any trade-in credit you have saved up can be applied towards the purchase price of one of these tablets.
