Kimdecent announces the Droid Stick A2 – Dual Core, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Mini PC

Kimdecent has unveiled the newest addition to their Droid Stick line of mini Android-powered PCs, the all new Droid Stick A2, which comes with a dual core processor and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

The Droid Stick A2 serves the same basic functions as the Droid Stick T4 that Kimdecent launched a few months ago. Both devices use a HDMI port to transform your HDTV or monitor into a Android-powered smart TV, but the A2 features some significant upgrades over it’s predecessor.

Hardware specifications of the Kimdecent Droid Stick A2 include a 1.5 GHz Amlogic 8726-MX ARM Cortex-A9 dual core processor, 1GB worth of RAM, and a Mali 400 dual core GPU. Connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a USB 2.0 port, a mini USB port, a IR port and a microphone jack. Lastly, the Droid Stick A2 will be available with either 4GB or 8GB worth of internal storage.

Kimdecent hasn’t released pricing information or a Droid Stick A2 release date yet, but we will keep you updated once they do. More information about the Droid Stick A2 is available from
