LG Optimus L9 coming to T-Mobile on Oct. 31 for $79

T-Mobile has announced that they will begin offering the LG Optimus L9 at T-Mobile retail locations, and online at T-Mobile.com starting on October 31.

The Optimus L9 will ship with Google’s Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system and features a 4.5-inch (540 x 960) Corning Gorilla Glass 2 display, a 1.0 GHz dual-core snapdragon S3 processor, 1GB worth of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, micro-SD card support, a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 1080p HD video capture, and a 2,150 mAh battery. Other features of the L9 include Wi-Fi voice calling, Mobile hotspot that supports up to five devices, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity and LG’s Smart Share software, which allows for wireless media transfers between DLNA-enabled devices.

Qualifying customers can pair the Optimus L9 with a T-Mobile Value voice and data plan and a new two-year service agreement for $49.99 with an out-of-pocket down payment and 20 equal payments of $15 per month with T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan (EIP). Also offered with a Classic voice and data plan, the Optimus L9 will cost $79.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate card with a two-year service agreement.
