Microsoft slashes the retail price of their Surface Pro 2 Tablets by as much as $200
If you are in the U.S. and have been considering picking up a Windows 8 powered tablet, you may be interested in learning that Microsoft has recently slashed the price of their Surface Pro 2 tablets by as much as $200.
This week’s price drop shouldn’t surprise anyone as it arrives less than a month after Microsoft officially announced the all new Surface Pro 3. Every version of the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablet have a new, lower price.
Both the 64GB and 128GB version seen a $100 price cut, making their new retail prices $799 (64GB) and $899 (128GB). With increased storage space comes increased savings as both the 256GB and 512GB versions shaved off $200 from their retail asking price. A 256GB Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablet previously retailed for $1,299, but can now be had for $1,099 while the 512GB version will cost ya $1,599.
