MSI Releases GT60 and GT70 Gaming Notebooks

MSI just released some new spec-heavy gaming notebooks. The GT70 and GT60 use the Intel HM77 chipset and Nvidia GTX 670M mobile graphics. Other features include Steel Series full-color back-lit programmable keyboard, Killer E2200 Game Networking Gigabit LAN, a 720p HD webcam, THX Surround Sound speakers with a subwoofer, WiFi, card reader and HDMI.  The machines share common features with the main difference being screen sizes.

The GT60 series features a 15.6-inch screen and starts at $1499, while the 17-inch GT70 series starts at $1549.99.  Both series of notebooks use the Intel Core i7-3610QM processors and can be fitted with up to 16 GB of RAM. Several different combinations of hard drives and SSD’s make up the available options for storage.
