Razer announces new BlackWidow 2013 Edition gaming keyboards
Razer has announced new models for its popular BlackWidow line of mechanical gaming keyboards. The new Razer BlackWidow 2013 line includes three different keyboards – the BlackWidow, the BlackWidow Tournament and the BlackWidow Ultimate.
Each of the three keyboards include similar features and improvements, such as support for macros and on-the-fly recording and a overhaul to the anti-ghosting technology. Razer has said that the new keyboards will allow for up to 10 simultaneous key presses at a time. The only differences between the three are size and back lighting options.
The Tournament version of the keyboard is designed to be more portable than the other two. As a result, it loses the number keys on the side, but otherwise keeps many of the features found on the standard BlackWidow. The standard version of the BlackWidow is identical to the Ultimate version except it lacks back lighting.
Razer is planning to launch the new keyboards next month for around $139.99.
