Sprint to launch 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 on Nov. 11th for $549.99
Sprint has announced that they will begin offering their first 4G LTE tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, starting on November 11th.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 runs Google’s Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 10.1-inch display, a 7000 mAh battery, 8GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The tablet will also include dual cameras, a rear-facing 3-megapixel camera that captures video, and a front-facing VGA camera for Face Unlock and video chat. Of course, the tablet will also boasts access to Sprint’s 4G LTE network.
Sprint will be selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for $549.99 and It will be available in Sprint retail locations and online at www.sprint.com. You will need a monthly data plan if you want to take advantage of the 4G LTE connectivity, and Sprint has a few options available. Current Sprint subscribers can choose to add the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to their existing account with a specially discounted plan that includes 1GB of data for only $15 per month. Sprint smartphone customers2 can add Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to their account with a specially discounted rate plan that includes 1GB of data for only $15 per month or as little as $10 per month for 100MB of data on the Sprint network. For a limited time, Sprint is waiving the activation fee on all 3G/4G LTE tablets.
